Grants

I have had national and international success with grants. I am the lead PI on an ARC Linkage in 2013: Characteristics, trends, co-admissions and service needs of women admitted to residential parenting services in the year following giving birth in New South Wales ($149,682). I had three successful NHMRC grants in 2011: 1) APP1022422. Birthplace in Australia: A prospective cohort study ($790,175.00); and 2) APP1022007 Improving maternal and infant outcomes: A multicentre randomised controlled trial of midwifery and dental intervention ($443,510.00) and in 2015 (APP1103015) Costing the Place of Birth in NSW: New Knowledge to support maternity service reform. I am part of the international COST EU team that received 400,000 Euros in 2009 and another COST grant in 2014. In addition I have received 14 internal and external grants since 2008
